eyelid changes
Here you will find pictures and explanations of common eyelid changes.
This picture lexicon cannot and should not replace a medical assessment.
Even a doctor experienced in diagnosing skin changes can make mistakes. In the diagnosis of so-called "white skin cancer" (basal cell carcinoma), for example, studies have shown that the diagnosis is only correct in about 90%. This means that in the more favorable case, changes can turn out to be harmless after removal in the laboratory. On the other hand, lesions classified as rather uncritical in the laboratory can already show malignant features and make further treatments necessary.
A diagnosis can therefore not be made by the layperson on the basis of an image comparison. But you can get an overview of the multitude of possible eyelid changes.
